• Decklists are required.
• Modified Swiss-style (50 minutes for each round). Only swiss round.
• The tournament organizer may choose to add +1 round to the number of rounds of the Magic Tournament Rule, as the number of rounds will be Swiss Draw only. In this case, it must be announced.
• However, if an error occurs in the event tool that prevents the +1 round from being played, the top 8 players will play a single elimination round in events with 4 right holders, and if there are 6 or more invitational, the +1 round will not be played and the qualifying round will end.
• If there are more than 227 participants in this event, the event will end with 8 rounds of Swiss Draw. And, the cap of participants for any qualifier will be 256.
• 8 players are required.If there are less than 7 players, the event will be canceled.
• MTG Companion will be used.

• The top 2 finishers of Champions Cup Store Qualifiers may play in any area qualifiers and as many times as you like within same round.

• Rules Enforcement Level (REL) is Competitive
• The Magic: The Gathering Tournament Rules and the Magic: The Gathering Infraction Procedure Guide are in effect for this event unless specifically overruled by information in this Format Document. Rules documents can be found in the Magic Document Center.
• Players are responsible for bringing their own method of tracking life totals, card sleeves, and appropriate counters or tokens.

• Top X Players after the Swiss round will be invited to the Champions Cup final. Invitational players depend on “Area”. The Invitations of each Area Qualifiers can be found below:

• In the Kanto region, the number of stores decreased by one as “Yellow Submarine Magickers★Hyper Arena” is closing due to building reconstruction.
• In the Kinki region, one additional store was added, but with no positive results. Therefore, the number was returned to the previous rounds.
• The number of invitationals at “Harukeya Tournament Center Tokyo” and “Harukeya Tournament Center Osaka” will be depending on the number of participants, as they have been able to accept all reservations.

• In this event that a player who wins an invitation to the Champions Cup final has already qualified for an invitation, the invitation and top finisher promo pass down under any circumstances.
