- STRUCTURE
- This event will be run by MTG Melee.
- All Regional Championships be run with open decklists. Players will take the decklist by printing. Players will be allowed to reference their opponent’s decklists before the match for an allotted time period as well as during sideboarding.
- Players must use the same deck on Day 2 that they used on Day 1.
- Modified Swiss-style (50 minutes for each round)
- Day 1 will consist of 7+1 Swiss Rounds (Total 8 round).
- Day 2 will consist of 4 Swiss Rounds and the Top 8 single-elimination playoff.
- All players with an X-2-0 record (or better) advance to round 8 of the Day 1. If there are fewer than 64 players with at least match 15 points, the top 64 players will advance to round 8 of the Day 1.
- The Top 8 players after the final Swiss round on Day2 will advance to the Top 8 single-elimination playoff.
- Standings after the Swiss rounds will be used to determine final order in the standings for losing players in the quarterfinal and semifinal playoff rounds.
- For the first game of each match in the Top 8, the player that finished higher in the Swiss rounds chooses either to play first or to play second. For subsequent games in each Top 8 match, the usual Play/Draw rule applies (loser of the previous game decides whether to play first in the next game).
- ELIGIBILITY
The rules regarding which Regional Championship a qualified player may participate in are as follows:
- Top finishers of Champions Cup Area Qualifiers
- Top finishers of Champions Cup Premium Qualifiers
- Top finishers of Champions Cup Last Chance Qualifiers
- The player who wins an invitation at each Magic Online qualifier that awards invitations to the designated Regional Championships.
- MTG Arena Qualifiers
- Members of the Pro Tour Hall of Fame are invited to one (1) Champions Cup final and Pro Tour per season (the Pro Tour and the Regional Championship invitations must be for the same cycle).
- Players that are already qualified for the Pro Tour to which the Regional Championship will award invitations. (Note: If a particular Regional Championship has already occurred, invitations will not be deferred to the next Pro Tour).
- Players that are otherwise invited to the designated Champions Cup final.

ⅰ)Players invited to the Pro Tour Minneapolis by the Champions Cup Finals (Cycle 2)
ⅱ)Top 8 players at Players Convention Yokohama Open(Modern, Standard)
Players invite to Pro Tour Barcelona at Pro Tour Minneapolis (including PTQs).
ADDITIONAL INVITATION CRITERIA FOR THE 2022-2023 SEASON
In addition, the following criteria apply only to Regional Championships in the 2022-2023 Season (these criteria do not apply to any future seasons):
- 2021-2022 Season MPL and Rivals players.
- The sixteen (16) non-MPL and non-Rivals players with the most World Championship Qualification Points during the 2021-2022 Season that did not play in Magic: The Gathering World Championship XXVIII (occurs in 2022).
- All non-MPL and non-Rivals competitors from Magic: The Gathering World Championship XXVIII (occurs in 2022).
However, if invitational players join another regional final event, that player can’t join the Champions Cup final in the same cycle.
About registration to Champions Cup Final
For playing at Champions Cup Final, the following 2 conditions must be met.ⅰ)Participation Eligibility.
ⅱ-a)Contact organizers by email(except to reside in Japan or South Korea)
ⅱ-b) Submit to registration form (players of reside Japan or South Korea)
Those who have completed registration will be notified by e-mail with details about 1 month before this event date.

Start Time - Deck List Submission Deadline:June 22th 22:00(JST)
- Round 1 starts at 10:00 AM.
- Round 9 starts at 9:00 AM.
- Note
- Rules Enforcement Level (REL) is Competitive on Day1 and Professional on Day2.
- The Magic: The Gathering Tournament Rules and the Magic: The Gathering Infraction Procedure Guide are in effect for this event unless specifically overruled by information in this Format Document. Rules documents can be found in the Magic Document Center.
- Players are responsible for bringing their own method of tracking life totals, card sleeves, and appropriate counters or tokens.
- In the event that a player who wins an invitation to a Pro Tours at a Champions Cup Final has already qualified for an invitation, the invitation passes down under any circumstances.
- Feeds
- Top finisher players are invited to the Pro Tour.
Top 12 Finishers are invited to the Pro Tour. Additionally, 13-18th place will be invited to the Pro Tour during the 2022-23 season.
- The winner and finalist are invited to the 2023 World Championship during 2022-2023 season.
Top finisher players are invited to the next Champions Cup Final.
