Store Qualifiers Fact Sheet

- FORMAT
- Standard, Pioneer, Modern Constructed, or Sealed.
- In the sealed tournament, the single elimination must be sealed (Draft cannot be held).
- This event must be BO3. This event cannot be held in BO1.
- This event cannot be applied in odd numbers. (Cycle 2 or later)
- STRUCTURE
- Decklists are NOT required.
- 8 players are required.If there are less than 7 players, the event will be canceled.
- Modified Swiss-style (50 minutes for each round)
- The Top X players after the final Swiss round will advance to the Top X single-elimination playoff.
- For the first game of each match in the plyoff, the player that finished higher in the swiss rounds chooses either to play first or to play second. For subsequent games in each playpff, the usual Play/Draw rule applies (loser of the previous game decides whether to play first in the next game).
- The number of rounds must be done according to the number of participants. The number of rounds cannot be increased or decreased. The number of rounds is as follows
Participants Round Note 8 plyers Swiss 3 rounds Only swiss round. 9-16 players Swiss 4 rounds and top 4 playoff (1 round) Use the top 4 blanket included in the event kit. 17-32 players Swiss 5 rounds and top 8 playoff (2 rounds) 33-64 players Swiss 6 rounds and top 8 playoff(2 rounds) ＊ 9-16 players: It is different from "Magic: The Gathering Tournament Rules" 10.2 Number of Rounds.
＊ 65+ players :The number of rounds will be in accordance with Magic: The Gathering Event Rules 10.2.It is only the semifinals.

- No eligibility is required.
- Notes
- Rules Enforcement Level (REL) is Regular.
- “The Magic: The Gathering Tournament Rules” and “The Magic: The Gathering Judging at Regular REL” are in effect for this event unless specifically overruled by information in this Format Document. Rules documents can be found in the Magic Document Center.
- Players are responsible for bringing their own method of tracking life totals, card sleeves, and appropriate counters or tokens.
- Prizes
- Top 2 players will receive invitation for Area Qualifier.
- In the previous announcement, the top finisher promo would pass down, but the promo is no longer being passed down. (Updated June-8)
- Top 2 players will take top finishers promo.If this event has 17 or more participants, 3rd-4th players will take top finishers promo. ・
- In this event that a player who wins an invitation to the Champions Cup Area Qualifiers / the Champions Cup final has already qualified for an invitation, this invitation pass down under any circumstances.
- At the end of the Swiss round, players should check to see if they already have the rights. The rules for passdowns are as follows.
Participants Pass down Note 8 plyers Pass down according to the final standings after 3 round. Only the invitation will pass down. 9-16 players Pass down to TOP 4. It’s depending of The final standing after single elimination round 1. Only the invitation will pass down. 17-32 players Pass down to TOP 8. It’s depending of The final standing after single elimination round 2. Only the invitation will pass down. ＊ If there are 9+ players, the invitations will be passed down to the remaining players in the single elimination.
